A tribute to Chandler

There are many many sitcoms and actors,

But Friends was really special to me,

And so was Chandler..

To say it was an iconic sitcom, is an understatement..

It made me laugh as a really young kid..

It made me laugh as a teenager..

It made me laugh in my twenties,

And it still makes me laugh now..

We turn to it when we need to cheer up,

We turn to it when we feel nostalgic,

We turn to it to bond with friends across the globe,

We turn to it when there's nothing else to see..

There was something innocent, something pure in it..

Some potent combination, that we still don't really understand..

All I know for sure is, I'll be watching it,

Again and again, perhaps with my grandkids too one day..

Now Chandler was a special one..

He was the closest to an actuary or statistician..

He gave us nerds lots of hope..

Hope, that we can get the girl too!!

Chandler, was also a great role model,

Not perfect of course,

A great friend, a loving husband,

A go-getter in his career..

And fun loving without doubt..

Chandler, we will miss you,

Matthew, we will miss you,

You have left a great legacy behind..

One that you can be proud of..

Wherever you go to next..
