In life, it is all too easy for us to slip into worrying about the future. We worry if we did the right thing, we worry if tomorrow will be what we wish for, we worry what if the unexpected happens.
In truth, quite often we make mistakes, quite often today is what wished for yesterday, quite often the unexpected happens. The outcome does not change from thinking about the uncontrollable parts of our life.
However, we do find that we have manifested what we worked towards. What did we do right to get here?
We find that we kept on doing what felt right, we kept our belief in ourselves despite setbacks, we kept going relentlessly despite our fears.
So our past tells us, that we need to focus on what we can control, that is ourselves.
Yes we set our goals, we have our desires but once we have set them, let us forget them.
Let us work on the means and forget the end. Let us focus on perfecting ourselves, our character, methods and work and the outcomes will come.
The seeker’s quest will be fulfilled. The door will open. Our job now is to continue seeking, to continue knocking on the doors that matter to us.
